It does not matter if someone thinks good or bad about us, 'Shaan' we only care about pleasing Allah. हुनर वक़्त की शाख को तोड़ लाने का हुनर रखते हैं, ऐ ज़िन्दगी हम ग़म में भी मुस्कुराने का हुनर रखते हैं। इतने आसानी से नहीं तोड़ पायेगा वक़्त हमें, हम बिख़र कर संवर जाने का हुनर रखते हैं। लहज़ा शीरीं रखते हैं पर मुनाफ़क़त नही रखते, मग़रूर नहीं हैं पर इक दायरा अहद रखते हैं। नफ़रतें कुछ कम कर सकें दिल-ए-इंसान से, इसलिए हम मोहब्बतों का ज़्यादा ज़िकर रखते हैं। फ़र्क़ नहीं कोई समझे हमें अच्छा या बुरा, 'शान' हम सिर्फ अल्लाह को राज़ी की फ़िकर रखते है।

The children would be in anticipation, peeping from their nests, contemplating how much playfulness the birds have in their wings. The day is passing quickly! Who is anxious to meet me? For whose sake should I be restless? This question weakens the posture and fills the heart with agitation. The day passes quickly. दिन जल्दी जल्दी ढलता है दिन जल्दी-जल्दी ढलता है। हो जाय न पथ में रात कहीं, मंज़िल भी तो है दूर नहीं यह सोच थका दिन का पंछी भी जल्दी-जल्दी चलता है। दिन जल्दी-जल्दी ढलता है। बच्चे प्रत्याशा में होंगे, नीड़ों से झाँक रहे होंगे यह ध्यान परों में चिड़ियों के भरता कितनी चंचलता है। दिन जल्दी-जल्दी ढलता है! मुझसे मिलने को कौन विकल? मैं होऊँ किसके हित चंचल ? यह प्रश्न शिथिल करता पद को, भरता उर में विह्वलता है। दिन जल्दी-जल्दी ढलता है।
