WHAT IS VOICE OF THE RAIN

In this poem the poet sees the following shower and asks it who it is. Strangely it gives the answer. It tells the poet that it is the poem of the earth and the voice of the rain. The shower is eternal. It rises out of the land and deep sea. From there the shower goes upward. There it's outer form is totally changed. Yet it remains the same. Then the shower descends to the earth and to wash away the drought and the dust-layers of the earth. And the seeds in the earth would remain only seeds without the help of the shower. They would not take Birth. The shower says that night and day. It tries to gives life to the earth and make it pure and beautiful. The shower says that a song. After fulfillment, returns its Birth place with love. The shower is also like a song. It takes Birth from the land and then returns it it.

The day passes quickly. दिन जल्दी जल्दी ढलता है दिन जल्दी-जल्दी ढलता है। हो जाय न पथ में रात कहीं, मंज़िल भी तो है दूर नहीं यह सोच थका दिन का पंछी भी जल्दी-जल्दी चलता है। दिन जल्दी-जल्दी ढलता है। बच्चे प्रत्याशा में होंगे, नीड़ों से झाँक रहे होंगे यह ध्यान परों में चिड़ियों के भरता कितनी चंचलता है। दिन जल्दी-जल्दी ढलता है! मुझसे मिलने को कौन विकल? मैं होऊँ किसके हित चंचल ? यह प्रश्न शिथिल करता पद को, भरता उर में विह्वलता है। दिन जल्दी-जल्दी ढलता है।
